I've been in the business of creating websites and web applications for five years, and I'm hard-pressed to find someone as versatile as Jerel when it comes to site creation and layout. His VHRadio.com site is quintessential example of this adaptable, creative, and skillful style.

After the multimedia-rich opening page, site visitors are introduced to a sharp-looking interface that's also highly usable and straightforward. Coming from someone who has written up numerous internet and intranet site evaluations and usability tests, VHRadio would score very high marks in my book when it comes to navigation, scanability, and intuitive UI elements.

Where the site really shines is content. Containing depth without overwhelming the user, VHRadio has a host of features, including station descriptions, ways for webmasters to integrate a VHRadio interface on their own sites, help tips and links for newbies, promotional banners, and even a form for personal e-mail sign-up. Jerel took a great idea (combining online radio stations that have a large percentage of Van Halen music in their play lists) and made it blossom into a one-stop, comprehensive radio site. This is a testament of both programming know-how and Jerel's ingenuity and resourcefulness.

Simply put, if Jerel does even half as good on web projects as he has on his previous efforts, you can count on him to do a bang-up job every time.

  After searching the web for sites with content about my favorite band Van Halen, I feel I've found the perfect site.
I came across the Van Halen Vault (http://www.vhvault.com several months ago in my quest for information and to interact with fellow Van Halen Fans across the world like myself. The Van Halen Vault has everything I could possibly want.

The recent redesign of this site is an incredible and pleasing experience in itself. It begins with a great and humorous
flash animation featuring The Vaults official mascot, bringing you to a beautiful clean and easy to navigate front page.

Content is another area that is not missed at The Vault. It features an incredible gallery of rare concert photos, magazine
articles and collectables. In the multimedia area,there are wallpapers, Icons, MP3 player skins, screen savers and rare concert video. Along with full information about Van Halen including a discography, is the MP3 vault featuring live, rare and unreleased songs from the band. I haven't seen any other fan site offer this much quality content (including the official
Van Halen web site). The vault also offers 20mb of website hosting and an web based E-mail account FREE!

The crowning glory is the VH Vault's message board http://www.vhstrungout.com This ubb based message board features
more eye popping graphics and a clean and an easy to use format. What this message board doesn't offer makes it a winner over all the other Van Halen message boards. It's free of questionable content and is a great community for fans to interact without the hassles and horrors of unkempt boards and heavy handed moderating that plague other message boards. It also offers a support forum for all the sites that are hosted by the vhvault.
All fan sites should take note of this site and learn from it.

VHstrungout.com:
This is a great add-on site for vhvault.com, featuring an active message board. When it comes to message boards, the layout and the graphics put vhstrungout.com in a class by itself. Possibly the best part of vhstrungout.com are the discussions, created by the wonderful members that the site attracts.

Graphicscreation.com:
I've called upon graphicscreation.com for images I've needed for web pages, and I was not disappointed. I got exactly what I wanted, combined with the up-to-date styling needed for the internet. Graphicscreation.com will cater to any graphic or web design you need.

VHradio.com:
Hands down, the best listing of independent online radio stations dedicated to the rock band Van Halen, and similar rock music.
